MVP BLOG - Great article on social networking realities
As a follow-up to my post about the differences between offline and online social networking constructs, I wanted to share an absolutely great presentation I read this morning from Paul Adams, a User Research lead at Google. If you are at all interested in online social networking or a bit of online anthropology, I highly recommend a flip through the charts.
Adam captures the nuances and realities of our offline social groups through, what seems like, impressive research. Given recent rumblings of Google putting a serious effort into the online social network world, this presentation gives insight on what the product might look like. I personally, am waiting for technology to catch up with how I really live my life.
